*ALOHA TO ROSE LANE WARD BUT CONTINUE TO COME UNTO CHRIST*

Aloha Family and Friends,
How are you all doing?  How is the weather back home in the islands?  I am doing just great here in Glendale - Sharing the Gospel and helping others Come unto Christ.  The weather is really nice in the 80's during the day and starting to get really chilly in the nights and mornings are at the high 50's.  We had a great week teaching the Gospel and helping our Heavenly Father's children receive the Gospel in their lives.  We got some great new investigators this week.  We are starting to teach Jacob and Joseph Luzinia (Georgiana and Jessicas brothers that we baptized) and committed them to be baptized on November 24.  We like to do fun activities with them and teach them simply things to help them pay attention.  That family I talked about last week that shouted at us while we were riding down the road we met with the 2 sisters that lives in our area and taught them the Restoration of the Gospel.  We also met with Ranae and Candace a referral from Bishop and taught them the Restoration of the Gospel.  It was spiritual & wonderful lesson with them and we had a sister from our ward who is leaving on her mission to Brazil in November come out with us and help us teach and testify of the Gospel which she did great.  We also had some great lessons with the Ledesma kids - Florena, Florencio, and Florissa teaching them the commandments and reviewing the Restoration of the Gospel with them.  We also had a great lesson with the Armstrong kids - Ben and Brittney, they are ready to be baptized but the Grandma won't bring them to church and we even stop by on Sunday to pick them up but they were not ready.  This Sunday was a great Sabbath Day.  During sacrament our ward had their primary presentation which was wonderful to hear the primary kids give talks and sing hymns, they did an amazing job.  It was so great to see Georgiana come to church with her husband Gabriel and their kids.  He had a great time at church and they stayed all three hours.  We asked Georgiana about Gabriel taking the missionary lessons, and she said she is working on it and she will let us know when he is ready, so we will let her do some missionary work and she is doing a great job of getting him to just come to Church which is one of the biggest obstacles we have teaching people the Gospel is having them feel comfortable to come to Church.  Then on Sunday evening we went to a missionary musical Fireside, which had a strong spirit.  Music truly brings the spirit especially when they feel it through the fireside because of our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Well we got Transfer news this morning and I am GETTING TRANSFERRED tomorrow.  I was so sad to hear that I am leaving the Rose Lane area.  I had a great time here teaching the gospel to all those that we helped Come unto Christ through Baptism and Confirmation.  This was a great area where we taught some wonderful converts that I loved to serve.  I will truly miss all of our converts, investigators, members, and people that I got to know and love.  I am so happy that I am leaving this area better than when I came in because we got some great work in this area with some wonderful people set to be baptized in November and the coming months.  The Lord needs me someplace else where people need to hear the Gospel from me.  Well that was my wonderful week in the missionary field.  I know that the Gospel and Church is true.  God is our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer that loves us so much.  The Gospel has been restored through Joseph Smith and we have a prophet today, Thomas s. Monson that continues to guide us back to live with God and our families for eternities.  I love and miss you all so much.  Have a wonderful Halloween and a fantastic Week.  Till next week in my new area with my new companion.  Take Care!

Love,
Elder Lance Kuhi Cabral.
