Dear Family and Friends,
How are you guys? How was
your Easter Sunday? Well, I am doing great here in Buckeye, Arizona -
Sharing the Gospel and doing the Lord's work. The weather here has
still been pretty good but starting to heat up in the 90's, gotta start
loading my camelback with lots of water. I had a good week in the
field, we only had 1 lesson this week with Megan which was wonderful to
read Alma 32 with her and help her gain a testimony of the Book of
Mormon and the restored Gospel. We had a few lessons that people
cancelled and our teaching pool has been a bit low after baptizing all
our great converts this past months. But I know that the Lord will
bless us with people to teach as we work hard and be obedient. We do
not have any with a date yet, but we have a few investigators that we
can set a date with to help them come unto Christ. We are doing a lot
of finding through members seeking referrals on people that they know
who would be interested in learning about the Gospel. A lot of the
members do not even know their neighbors so we are encouraging them to
meet them and pray for a missionary opportunity. We had a great Easter
Sunday with at both sacraments packed with people and a great dinner
with a member family. We also had great lessons with our recent
converts Destiny and Scott by taking them to the Family History Center
to research names of their ancestors they can take to the Temple and do
their work. We are planning to take Destiny this Thursday to the Temple
and witness her being baptized in their behalf. Well that was my great
week here in the mission fielding doing the Lord's work. I know that
our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ loves us and lives and that the
restored Gospel is back on earth with a prophet, Thomas S. Monson and
Apostles that leads his church today. Families can be together Forever
through living the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is Word
of God that can help us have Eternal Life. Take care and have a great
week. You are all in my prayers!
Love, Elder Lance Kuhi Cabral
